An autonomous subermersible designed to extract oil out of sunken shipwrecks in order to protect the ocean.
There are more than 8500 wrecks on the bottom of our oceans still containing up to 20 Million tons of oil, an enormous threat for all marine and coastal habitats. The SEPIA concept is able to drill inside the wreck and extract the oil by pumping it into giant balloons. Once these are completly filled, they rise to the surface where they are collected and emptied.
